✈ Virtual Aviation Alliance • OnAir Stratus • SWASA
Virtual aviation with questionable sanity.
Southwest Of Sanity is a virtual aviation alliance for independent OnAir company owners, flight sim pilots, cargo haulers, short-hop specialists, and anyone who thinks an operations dashboard should have both useful data and plausible deniability.
We use OnAir Company as the economy backbone, Discord as our communication platform, and a shared operating picture to keep the alliance connected without turning it into a corporate org chart.

Current Operational Pulse
A public snapshot of the alliance pulse: active flights, member companies, aircraft, and work orders without making visitors read an accounting textbook.
A few simple questions to decide whether the situation requires action, snacks, or a more confident explanation.
👨✈️ Brand mascot, dispatch philosopher, and designated blame sponge
Meet Captain TX.
Captain TX is our unofficial ramp philosopher, brand mascot, and interpreter of noises that may or may not require a maintenance entry. His command philosophy is simple: fly the airplane, respect the checklist, and never ask maintenance a question you are not emotionally prepared to hear answered.
Under the Southwest Of Sanity banner, member companies keep their own identity while sharing the dispatch boards, operating picture, community tools, and running jokes that make the whole alliance feel connected.
The Flagship: Captain TX’s 737-800
The flagship is less a corporate monument and more a symbol of the SWASA operating style: practical, recognizable, occasionally dramatic, and ready for another short hop before anyone finishes the paperwork.
The logo represents the shared banner: a little airline, a little alliance, a little lightning, and a healthy refusal to become a normal aviation organization.
What We Are
Southwest Of Sanity is a virtual aviation alliance: independent OnAir company owners and flight sim pilots operating under a shared banner without pretending we all report to the same clipboard.
Built Around OnAir
OnAir Company is the career and economy backbone. Members can fly jobs, move cargo and passengers, operate their own companies, and still contribute to the wider Southwest Of Sanity operating picture.
Operations Style
Short-haul routes, practical hubs, flexible aircraft choices, member-owned companies, and community-friendly updates. Serious flying is welcome. Taking ourselves too seriously remains optional.
Flight Simulator Reviews
Add-ons, hardware, utilities, scenery, aircraft, and suspicious purchases reviewed for pilots who want better simming and fewer box-opening regrets.
Captain’s Log
Captain TX records flight notes, route experiments, operational oddities, and the stories that happen when real data meets virtual aviation judgment.
Downloads
Liveries, tools, templates, documents, and operational aids for members who enjoy a well-stocked file cabinet almost as much as a full fuel truck.
Operations Intelligence
A deep-dive operations center for alliance activity: company performance, fleet condition, flights, jobs, FBOs, employees, work orders, and the financial clues hiding in plain sight.
Bring a flight sim, an OnAir account, your own company identity if you have one, and a willingness to fly under a shared banner without surrendering your personal brand of aviation nonsense.
